Rompetrol customers are already able to use the discount card at gas stations. According to the company, the process of gradual restoration of the loyalty program has started and access to the service will be restored to loyal customers from May 1. It should be noted that the amount of discount on each liter of fuel of any type - instead of the standard 8, 12 and 15 tetri (for holders of classic, premium and gold type cards) - is now 20 tetri. This tariff will be maintained for 4 months.

Note that the loyalty program will work in test mode and on the first stage the discount cards will be able to be used by our existing loyal customers. Thank you for your support and loyalty!" – it’s  said in the company’s statement.

As a reminder, on March 6, due to a cyber attack on the servers of "Rompetrol" head office, the company's customers were restricted for some time from the access to various services, those that the company was working intensively to restore. Delays were eliminated in stages. Technical works are still ongoing, although most services have already been restored.

According to the Romanian press and online cybersecurity portals, the cyber-criminal group Hive was behind the attack, whose complex attacks created a problem for the Romanian company's websites and services. The incident on the servers of the head office also affected the representatives of "Rompetrol" in different countries, including "Rompetrol Georgia", which largely depends on the technical infrastructure located in the head office in Bucharest.
